Born out of the procrastination of a couple of no good Electronics students in Manchester, Nothin Left 2 Steal wrote their first track in January 2005 in J's student house in Fallowfield, Manchester and in Ben & Tom's City centre pad. The founder members being guitarists, a drummer was still required. A few have been lined up but neither have stuck to their word; The search continues, but with uncertainty at present as to the future location of NL2S', this search is currently at a halt.
After a number of different names, including "No Post on Sundays", "ayearbeforenovember" and "Sub-60", "Nothin' Left 2 Steal" was finally chosen due to its reflection and tribute to the Lostprophets lyric, with Lostprophet's also being one of our major influences.
2006 is over, and we didn't really get much done. Our plans to win the mercury music prize in 2008 have gone out of the window, so this looks likely to be postponed til 2009.
So far in 2007 we have had two sessions. During which we have begun writing a new track. The working title is "got to tell you", but this could all change once the chorus has been finalised. We also have been working on a repunk of a number one hit from back in 1997. The unforgettable "Spice Girls, Say You'll Be There". It's gonna be carnage!
We will keep you posted. Thanks for your support.
