I already meet her....her name is Michelle or Shelley but I just call her 'unnys. I met Shelley at the end of July 2006 and from the moment I laid eyes on her I knew one thing....that she was way out of my league!! But what I was actually feeling was someting new....something different. People say that "you can't really fall in love at first site." But I know better because that is exactly what happened to me.But could I convince Shelley that I wasn't CRAZY! There were a few close calls...like when I gave her keys to my condo after only knowing her for 1 week....or when I gave her "a drawer" after just 2weeks...but we survived that and now we live together with our little puppy Diesel (or "boo-boo" as Shelley likes to say) and we couldn't be happier.Shelley is truly my one true love....I know this to be a truth....a certainty....and I wake up every day excited about what the day will bring with my soulmate....my Shelley...my 'unnys!THE PROPOSAL TO MY FIANCE AND SOULMATE, SHELLEY:Throughout my life I have always dreamed and hoped that one day I would meet my one true love, my soul mate. I remember when I was a little boy, I told my mom and dad that I would be married with kids by the time I was 28. Well, 28 came and went and there was no wife or children in site.I really didn’t worry very much about that silly boys thought at 28…but when 29 and 30 came and went I did begin to wonder if my one true love would ever arrive.In fact, for awhile I began to wonder if true love really existed. I began to wonder if I was being unreasonable about my dream of meeting my soul mate. I was worried that I was becoming jaded.Then I met you. I will never forget the day I met you Shelley. We had already spoken on the phone over the course of several weeks and I was amazed at the connection and chemistry I felt with you over the phone. Talking with you came so effortlessly. You came across as sweet, smart, funny and down to earth and these were qualities that I was looking for. So the day we were going to finally meet was a stressful day for me. I wondered if you would like me; if you would think I was cute or handsome. I knew that you had just gotten off a really long flight from the wedding in Hawaii and the fact you were still willing to meet me meant so much to me.And then it was time to finally meet. I will never forget the moment when I walked out of the elevator and turned the corner to let you into my condo complex. I saw you waiting at the glass door, we locked eyes and you looked so beautiful. People say that love at first site doesn’t happen, but I know better. I fell in love with you the moment I laid eyes on you. I looked into your eyes and I knew right away that you were the one for me…that you were my one true love…my soul mate.I tried my best to not show you how I felt because I was worried you would think that I was crazy. Well, I know that on a few occasions you did think I was crazy. You were probably surprised when right away I gave you a toothbrush, a drawer and a key to my condo. I know that you were definitely surprised when I took you to Laguna Beach for the weekend and unveiled “my plan for you†and asked if you would move-in with me.Living with you has been the most amazing experience of my whole life. You are the most amazing friend and partner that any man could hope for. Now I know that we have had our bumps and bruises and after we weathered the storm I realized something. I realized that even during our few difficult times, it never crossed my mind that I didn’t love you or that I didn’t want to be with you. And I really think that these bumps and bruises made us stronger. And now I truly feel that we understand each other.Shelley, I love you with all of my heart. You inspire me to want to be a better man with every passing moment that we are together. You are my best friend. You are my lover. You are my partner in life. And I want nothing else than for you to be my wife and the mother of my children. I want to wake up every morning next to you. I want to be there with you during all the great times and all of the bad times. Shelley- I want to grow old with you.And now, I ask that you make this little boy’s dream come true.
