A Hero From A Thousand Paces headlines a major charity event in Philadelphia called "Fashion Rocks For A Cure 2007" Benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5th.
Among the performances scheduled for this year's Fashion Rocks For A Cure are A Hero From A Thousand Paces, I Am The Pilot, Throne and more. Fashion shows from popular trendy labels Betsey Johnson, Denim Society, Pure Luxury Ateliers Collection and Ordinary Clothing will fill out the night - aptly titled Fashion Rocks For A Cure. Proceeds from this year's event will go to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. If you live in or around Philadelphia, be sure to stop by to support a great cause, scope out the latest fashions, and listen to a few of tomorrow's upcoming bands.

WHAT FASHION ROCKS FOR A CURE MEANS TO A HERO FROM A THOUSAND PACES:HERO rocks for a CURE this year's "Fashion Rocks for a Cure" in Penn's Landing in PA. Aside from being a part of a major positive event for many good reasons, HERO is taking part in this years event for altruistic purposes. The Fight against cancer is a war HERO believes in and is committed to aiding. The disease hits home for HERO and helping raise money for a cure is a honorable task. It takes a lot for rockstars to attempt to change peoples' lives. If writing music and performing can aid in the war against these diseases, then HERO will do anything in their power to help in any way they can. There is nothing more accomplishing to a musician than for their music to emotionally support people through hard times. People fighting every day for their lives deserve support and understanding. Music can serve as a therapeutic measure for people and to be the voice in the speaker, the musicians need to deliver on a daily basis. The contributions can not end in the studio. And by donating to and performing at this years "Fashion Rocks for a Cure" HERO hopes to get just a little closer to helping people in more ways than one.
