I'm really dedicated to my pottery class. It lets me unwind. Sometimes, after a hard day or work, I just need to retreat into my studio and get away from all the stress. It's hard you know, keeping the streets safe.
I also enjoy a good hand of poker with my detectives now and then. I could clean you out at Texas Hold 'em. You don't even know.
Music:
Nothing's better than taking the stress off to some nice jazz. It calms the soul and you can just hear it inside of you! I have so many records, I don't even know what to do. My husband Donald is always trying to get me to get rid of them.
Movies:
I am so tired of this crap that Hollywood is putting out there, taking up my time and filling my kids' heads with stupid ideas. Have you ever shot a person? I mean a real live person. No movie I have seen can convey the what you go through when you take someone else's life. Movies...
Television:
Have you seen those shows on Discovery Channel Science? I love watching how technology's advancing to help us get some of these thugs off the streets. Besides that, it is usually the TV News.
Books:
I like reading poetry, especially Langston Hughes. If I'm not too busy keeping up with the new or my paperwork, I don't mind the occasional non-fiction.
Heroes:
Maya Angelou, Martin Luther King Jr. for his leadership, and the men and women of the New York City Police Force. They are out there putting their lives on the line for the people of New York. Any rat bastards abusing their police power, I am going to get them put away!
