About Me

I just graduated with a BFA in Acting. Now I've gotta find a job! Scary! I grew up in a very small town in rural Washington. I still love the countryside and the mountains. Mountains + Bikes = Sweet! I can't resist Mexican food, but my new favorite is Greek! My dream is to make a living as a performer, stage or film (hopefully, but I'm trying to stay realistic). I love theater in most every form (most). Classical text is the best, Shakespeare and the like. I don't really know what else to say here except that of all the things I love, I love my God the most. My Interests

I love to ski, and I REALLY love to go mountain biking. I am also very interested in Concept art and most forms of fantasy art. Some of my favorite artists are: Brom, Michael Whelan, Frank Frazetta, Doug Chiang, and Todd Lockwood. I love to draw (though I haven't in a long while). My favorite activity in the whole entire world is running. I treasure it. It is the perfect escape from all distractions.

Clint Howard. Anyone? Clint? Oh well...

Music:

My favorite band at the moment is Switchfoot. They're great! I also like Shawn McDonald, Coldplay, Caedmon's Call, Reliant K, and most all forms of classic rock, including Pink Floyd, The Beetles, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the like.

Movies:

Adventure movies are the best! My favorite movie is "Indian Jones and the Last Crusade," but "The Abyss" is a close second.

Television:

"Firefly" was an amazing television show that shouldn't have disappeared. That is the type of show that I like, sci-fi or adventure. "Battlestar Gallactica" and "Farscape" are great as well. "Family Guy" and "Scrubs" are the funniest shows in history.

Books:

I am currently reading The Faded Sun Trilogy, Exodus, and Confessions of a Reformission Reverend. J.D. Salinger is my favorite author, followed closely by Kurt Vonnegut. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is the funniest book EVER, although the movie was more than disappointing. In the Christian lit section I like The Pursuit of God by A.W. Tozer. Every Christian should read it. I have also recently read and liked The Case For Christ, Mere Christianity, Wild at Heart, and The Silence of Adam.

Heroes:

Imaginary or real? My imaginary hero is Indiana Jones. My real hero is Jesus Christ, and of course my dad. Can't really beat that.
