Nickel Creek Copeland Caedmon's Call Derek WebbI think I have far too many favorite bands to actually list all of them but I guess I can name a few of the best ones. My favorite, or sentimental favorite is Caedmon's Call. There most recent album was amazing, but I really enjoy their old stuff much better. Nickel Creek also is incredible. If you think you don't like bluegrass just give them a chance. They will change your mind, and if they don't then you have no soul. Switchfoot also has to go in my awesomeness category. I just love their sound. Lastly I have to mention Derek Webb. The man is incredible on the guitar, and writes the most gritty gutsy songs I've ever heard. He's on of the few Christian artists that sings about the things on his heart, and not a forced message.
Well.... I like all kinds of movies as long as they have nothing to do with magnolias, traveling pants, or ya-ya sisterhoods. I think my favorite comedic movie would have to be Ofice Space. It has to be one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Milton rocks!!! My favorite drama or epic in my case is a tie of three outstanding movies. Braveheart, Gladiator, and Saving Private Ryan. I mean it's like the testosterone three pack of movies. If you ever need to feel like a manly man just put in one of those, and you'll develop hair on your chest.
Other than goofy stuff like Family Guy or Robot Chicken the TV stays on Sports or sportscenter.
Blue Like jazz is really good. Anything by Donald Miller just makes my brain spin. Also Christ Plays in 10,000 places has totally rocked my world lately. Lately though David Crowder's books have grabbed my attention. Praise Habit is an interesting and fun book to read.
I would say Wonderboy, but I think he got killed by Dr. Doom. Seriously though, my grandpa was my hero. He was amazing. He taught me how to fish, how to play all kinds of sports, and more importantly how to be a man, and even more importanly than that, how to be a Christian man. He rocked. I also have to say that Derek Webb is a hero of sorts. What he does is something I could only hope to do.
