About Me

The Beginning: Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Andrew Richardson has eaten, slept and breathed music his entire life. His story starts from his roots and goes beyond his dreams…Art Breeds Art: Andrew grew up in a musical environment. His brother’s violin lessons filled the house; his parents’ musical hobbies- a piano playing mother and guitar aficionado father made music part of their world. Daily doses of 80's Pop, Rock and Metal from the radio dial and the record player played when they didn’t and school choirs made education inspiring.Making Music: Writing songs came natural to Andrew, he has a song in his collection that dates back to the third grade in elementary school. Rudimentary piano lessons followed and shortly afterward he taught himself how to play and write popular music on the piano and guitar. While in high school he was the keyboard player for a blues band called "The Poor Boys" that headlined venues such as Fitzgerald's and The Abyss with notable opening acts such as "Blue October" and "Tumbledown". A year after high school graduation he attended the legendary Belmont University in Nashville on Music Row to study Music Business and Video Production. While honing his music business skills he met Jim Bennett, Nate Watkins & Denver Hamilton and formed "Crooked Creek" - a Southern Rock band that headlined and toured throughout Tennessee, Oklahoma and South Carolina and having one stint organizing a concert and opening for country hit artist "Chad Brock". The next events that followed were a series of moving adventures living in Los Angeles, Austin and finally touching his wings back down at HOME in Houston.Mr Richardson is currently producing and writing material for himself and for others and playing in a very popular 80's cover band "The Lost Boys" (www.thelostboysband.com)Be sure to watch out for this incredible musician. He will take your breath away…
