Whut up yo...Im SCOTT also known as dj LINGUIK....I consider myself one of the oldest DnB junkie in the history of DnB.....oook maybe not the oldest but I most Definitely feel like I've been around this shit since the dinosaurs roamed the earth, I remember back in the days when dj Christian Bruna had recently started the party CAMOUFLAGE at GUERNICA ...maaaannn good times...those to me were the Days....good vibe, good peeps, and phat beats. AAAhh and by the way mad props for bruna........ live long and prosper man. Other hot joints (at the time) were Konkrete Jungle at Pyramid, Direct Drive, and ....damnn I forget the name of this one party but it was every Sunday night at a place called Drinkland, in fact I dont really remember all the parties from those days (and there were alot of them ..at that time, Im talking mid-90s). But I was there, either dj-ing , breaking, or making friends..... I started off listening and going to DnB parties in Miami, Florida first, (where Im from) then I moved to NYC and then I was introduced to DnB up here in NYC and shit just took off from there... met almost all my good friends I have now, at all these DnB venues, most specially at Guernica..........so yeah Ive been around for a while....and a big junkie I am of it too .....need a doze of DnB every three days, sometimes five days a week, every week of the month, every month of the year, and so on, and so on. At the beginning of time I was dj-ing, I was doing that alot and that was my thing ... but as time went on I started transforming, I was going through a metamorphosis, I was turning into a b-boy and now thats almost all I do (thanks to my incredible, hi- amount of sugar in my system.) .....I still dj though, just not as much as I used to. Guernica is no more ..unfortunately.. but no worries Camouflage moved on to Leopard Lounge/SinSin, which is a much bigger and better place and it feels like Im going trough the next generation of DnB music ..and let me tell ya its sounding pretty good, so for as long I have the love, you can bet all the money in the world, that you will see me there posing a freeze.
