My head still hurts from tring to think of my favorites. Basically I grew up watching action adventure movies, and comedies like Airplane, The Naked Gun, Better Off Dead and stuff. I then got into independent films, and then lost cable. Basically the movie has to make sense to me, entertain, enlighten, and positively stimulate. I also like to be able to relate to at least one of the main characters even though I know it isn't real, I like considering the possibility that it could happen. Unless of course it's a fantasy, or sci fi, horror or crazy comedy.
I watch the Simpsons, Family Guy, and Scrubs for entertainment, and the History, and Learning Channel for obvoius reasons. It actually is rare when I get a chance to sit in front of the T.V. for over an hour. I'm pretty busy with work, working out and hanging out with friends and my girlfriend. I think that our society hit an all time low when reality TV really started to multiply. It only proves how easily people can be mislead into believing fallacies. Discovery channel kicks major ass. History channel can be entertaining, but it's as they say that history is written by the victor. There, of course, is a certain sense of nationalism involved. Oh, National Geographic rocks the house. Last but not least, the Ultimate Fighter, and other MMA shows broadcasts. Or maybe it is the least thing that I like. I often contemplate the reasons why one would purposely try to harm another. It's much different than a street fight because because there are rules. It is a sport that is exceptionally brutal. Personally, I don't think that it is wise with all of the risk of permanent injury. Something about the history of human vs human in a martial arts battle that is more than just violent though. It is a battle of wit when one examines more thoroughly. Like I said, I often contemplate why someone would really want to harm another so badly. Is it ego, money, or just a simple love of martial arts. Who knows. I guess the question is more easily answered on a subjective basis.
Favorite Book: "Makes me Wanna Holla" by Nathan McCall. I read a little Steven King, and Dean Koontz. I first started getting into reading when my 6th grade English teacher gave me "The Outsiders". Now I read just about everything. I like to read things that are educational. I used to hate school, but now I'm all about education. Yeah, so books is good!
Superman! Ooooo and Wonder Woman. They should hook up and start a race of Super people... Oh yeah and Hitler. (that's so wrong). I guess, my parents for sure. My friend Z also. All my people on some level have saved me from adversity in one way or another. So thank you all. :)
