TIC TOC TOKYO release their debut EP, Artefacts, on 16/02/08. Artefacts is full of the anxious melodies and rain-dance rhythms that have made TTT's live shows so captivating and their three track demo recordings infamous on independent radio nationally and in the Melbourne music scene. Contorted, danceable and sharp, TTT stand alone as a band playing what comes naturally while keeping their influences in check, creating something unique and a haunting sound that is all their own. Their no-wave leanings and uncompromising rhythmical shifts are reminiscent of another time in Melbourne music history, while at the same time they equally sound like something from the near future.
