About Me

I love music. I've been fortunate enough to perform in some of the best shows in So. Cal. I play Ska, Reggae, Roots, Rocksteady, Serious Dub, Ehhh, You'll even catch me playing a two tone song once in a while, CHIQUIS. I jam as much as possible. I've never had lessons. I just play from my soul or whatever vibe I'm picking up. Of course, a little practice doesn't hurt. I started out playing with The Allentons about 10 or 11 years ago. We broke up for a bit but, got back together after a 3 year break up. In those three years I got a little more serious with Irie Beats, a tight group that gigged locally in Los Angeles, Ca. Someway or another I balance all the bands and other side projects I perform in. I gig around locally in So. California but, I try to perform out of town when ever I have a chance. Check out our my space @ www.myspace.com/iriebeats and www.myspace.com/theallentons www.myspace.com/sloedub experience and one more www.myspace.com/thereggaemessenjah .I've had some serious blessings come around. I've Had the opportunity of playing guitar for such Reggae and Ska greats as Phylis Dillon (rest in peace), Frankie Paul, Eric "monty' Morris, Junior p. Rico Rodriguez, World known Trombonist, Sangie Davis (wrote such great songs as Give thanks and praise, Wake up and Live sung by Bob Marley), Leroy Sibbles of The Heptones. I 've also sat in with, Quinto Sol (latino reggae out of Los Angeles), on several occasions, The Slackers (from New York), Human Rights and Run for Cover ( backup bands for H. R. of Bad Brains), kingston 10 ( trad Ska from Los Angeles), Chris Murray Combo, Jah Faith and the Royal lineage, Family tree and a couple of others. In Oct, 2007 I had the honor of playing for my homie Dave Fuentes' Tribute show. I shared the stage with L.A.'s best Ska and Reggae artist, to celebrate his life with the music he performed with L A's very own Hepcat. It was an amazing response, I've had some fun times. I can't wait for more. Look out for me, let me know what you think. "I'm sure you'll be blazed (Average Homeboy, youtube it, Ha!)". Be cool people. Peace Everybody! Now buy my music...Here is a moment I'am deeply proud of.
