Theatre (duh); History-- especially culinary history and medieval history; City of Heroes because I am a dork and proud of it; baking the best goddamn chocolate chip cookies you've ever had in the entire span of your pitiful existence; creative profanity.
Actors, directors, designers and technicians willing to be underpaid to work in a basement theatre.
I like everything, so I can only say what I'm listening to right now: Yidcore, Dash Rip Rock, The Mr. T Experience, Nirvana, Louis Prima and all of that era, Glenn Miller and all of that era, Marilyn Manson, Weezer, Faure (OMFG the Faure Requiem), Amy Winehouse, Inverness, Big Mama Thornton, Johnny Cash, oh, and did I mention Yidcore? I did. Oh.
I like movies with superheroes and things that blow up and fighting. Anyone who makes a living teaching Dramatic Lit and directing Shakespeare gets to spend her off time watching X2, Hellboy, and Episode IV-- end of discussion. If I ever have to see The Fountain again, I will stab myself in the eye with a fork.
I don't watch a lot of TV-- not because I'm trying to be some kind of posturing, self-important faux-intellectual, but because I am too busy being a MUCH bigger dork playing City of Heroes (my global is Caslavka; I'm always on the Freedom server). I like everything animated and inappropriate: Family Guy, South Park, Futurama. You see how it is. Guilty pleasure: HGTV. Home alone viewing: ESPN. DVD default position: Firefly.
