HipHop (my life, my attitude, my philosophy and way of life), humanity, Rap, sports, meeting friends, hangin around, having fun, contemplating/thinkin...
Let me make one thing real clear for all y'all who don't know, HipHop is not a music-genre and HipHop ain't ridiculous dancing taught by even more ridiculous and curious people at their dancing school who are just trying 2 make profit by using the word/term HipHop 4 what they are doing because they know they can make some money with it, come on, man!!! You gotta feel that shit from the heart and give your soul 4 it. Rap is still something you do (the music of the culture, although I also think that nowadays not every "rapper" is automatically HipHop) and HipHop is something you live (the culture with its way to view the world, its philosophy. It's still about One Love, peace, unity, equality (of race, origin, sexual orientation, the colour of your skin etc.), respect, freedom, truth, havin fun, understanding, knowledge, wisdom, creativity, positivity etc.) It is also about b-boyin/b-girlin, graffiti art/writing, MCing, DJing, beatboxin and so on. If you are just listening to rap-music or making rap-music because(!) it's hip, becuase of the hype or just because you want to make some money and don't give shit about our community and the culture, then pleeeeease stop callin yourself HipHop!! Maybe we can get along well in many/some things, that's all cool and you can be a nice person - no doubt about it- but stop callin yourself HipHop if you don't live that shit and if you don't have a real deep love 4 it.
Guys and girls who produce "soul-beats", boys and girls who love HipHop the way I do and of course everyone who shares the same interests/ opinions. But I am not interested in chattin with homophobe people, sexists, racists etc.
"I got a passion it's, not just a habit
It's B-boy mentality deeper than any cavity
Way beyond fashion or any kind of salary
A quick elixir mixed with a heavy dose of reality
It's too complicated for the minds outside the lines
Drawn when the volume of drums gets over nine
I'm a, part of a movement not meant for the clueless
Use this in your curriculum when teachin the students...
Hip hop ? Les diamants énormes sur les lobes ?
Bullshit !...
Hip hop ? Les diamants énormes sur les lobes ?
Hip hop ? Les taspés qu'ont oublié leurs robes ?
Hip hop ? Big egos and big chains ?
Hip hop, I think it's all inside of your brain
Hip hop ? Les sapes extra extra larges ?
Hip hop ? J'ai dit extra extra larges ?
Hip hop ? Quick money and fast rides ?
Hip hop, just a good feeling inside"
