About Me

when i watch a chick flick, i am always drawn to the leading lady who struggles to gather her things in the morning, steps out of her sky rise apartment in manhattan, walks to the local starbucks, takes the subway to work, makes it up to her corner office after being greeted by her assistant, slaves away until dark, awakes to get on a plane to travel across the world for business, comes back home only to bump into someone on the street, dropping everything in her arms and looks up to find prince charming apologetically helping her gather her things. until this moment she has been busy. busy doing things she's inherently good at. busy changing the world, exploring the world, embracing the world ... content to make a difference on her own.but now ... now a part of her is awakened that brings new depth and greater visions that she desperately hopes to attain.i am her.awakened daily by the reality that bumps into me as i walk along the beaten path. it shakes me and causes me to drop all that i've been clinging to ... some days, i am caught off guard and i quickly gather my things. i walk away frazzled and peer over my shoulder at a lost opportunity. but most days i look up and glean at the opportunity to do something greater. to walk into something far bigger than myself.i'm living my dream.i wake up each morning and struggle to get my things together, step out of my home and walk to the corner coffee shop, sit in rush hour and sip my coffee, find my way to my middle office, leave work after dark, will be getting on a plane in a month to travel across the world for business, comes back home only to ... be greeted by a broken humanity that needs me to fight harder. and i will. i see you ... i hear you ... and we will overcome. victory is ours.and maybe someday, i'll bump into the one who desires to partner with me in this journey of crazy pleasure, crazy friends and crazy love for those who were meant to be rescued even if it costs us our lives.
