Sometimes I feel like the best at everything; other times I question the very value of me. I am a strange character, but I am easy to get along with - which, unfortunately, yields the unwanted result of being used from time to time.

I am a loving father. I play guitar, solve rubuk's cubes, am a logical thinker, love to play Othello and Euchre, love and respect my mother and father, do not believe in silly irrational bullshit, and most importantly I strive for knowledge and happiness at all times.

Love me or hate me, but that is me in a nutshell.

My Interests

I am interested in anything, right up until the point I realize it sucks. That is the truth. Why avoid giving chances to things which may be a lot of fun?

I, very much, enjoy every role that I play, save "broke dude." I love being a husband and father. I, also, enjoy: math, music, science, endorphins, video games, friendship, quiet, deep thought, and uncertainty.

Oh yeah, and I love the Chiefs. I think pro sports are pretty stupid, but just like tatoos, I find myself attracted to them. It is probably just American zealotry.

Music:

I play several instruments. Though, none of those I would claim that I play well. I play clarinet(bass, and contra as well), tuba, bass, drums, and guitar. I've been playing guitar for about 13 years, but it seems like I've been playing for about 13 months.

As for music I listen to - I enjoy anything from a sweet aria to Sepultura, or perhaps, from Derude to Leo Kottke. Music is a wonderful language which can say many things, all of those things are messages I'm certainly willing to hear at least once.
