Fixing what I've broken.
Being an amazing wife.
Being an amazing mommy.(yes, I hope always to be "mommy.")
Excelling at work.
Getting from today to tomorrow with minimal disruption.
I can't think of anyone I'd like to meet. I suppose I'm pretty content with the people I already know.
I have become completely obsessed with The Postal Service, I spend most of my work day listening to the same four songs you can see the videos of on mtv.com while I'm at work. (I LOVE my job.)
I love the band TOOL. We saw them last year and it was an amazing show.
I also enjoy the Barenaked Ladies. Their radio-play stuff is very fun and catchy, but I like them for what doesn't get played on the radio. They have truly amazing music on their albums.
The first time I heard the song "Goodbye Blue Sky" by Pink Floyd, I was at work. I nearly started crying right there at my cubicle. What a beautiful song.
I love Simon & Garfunkel and I'm not ashamed to admit it, even if I am one of maybe 5 people under 40 who relate to their music. They can also bring me to tears.
I really like the new stuff Paul McCartney has just put out. He's still got it...
I have a LOT of songs that I can associate a memory to, of a specific place, time, event or feeling the first time I heard it. I know this isn't unique to me, but it illustrates that it's impossible to list all the music that is important to you. When you hear it,
you just know.
