eRnieS

tHe eRnieS are existing in a nearly unchanged instrumentation since 1996. They used up themselves since this time the melodic punkrock with multiple voice singing. Musical models of tHe eRnieS are both volume of the modern punkrock like NoFX and Millencolin, in addition, representatives of the old-school punkrock like the Ramones or Social Distorsion. Already three months after the band has been formed, they published their demonstration tape "Stay Young?!" at their first gig. "Hallelujah!!!", the second demo of tHe eRnies, was released in autumn 1996. At the same time, the website of tHe eRnieS , www.the-ernies.de, was launched in the internet. Since 1997, tHe eRnies had many gigs with different bands out of the region Stuttgart, with which tHe eRnieS could always convince. Their third demo, tHe eRnieS released in 1999. It was called "Unsigned". It was the first time that tHe eRnieS did a few experiments with the trumpet. For the very good experiences, which one made with the trumpet, the band searched for a suitable extension, in order to increase slowly however surely on Bigband size. In summer 2003 they found what they have searched. Langer with his trombone was the perfect extension to Dan's trumpet. In the beginning of 2005, there was a new challenge for the band. Their bass player left the band and so they had to change the internal instrumentation.
