About Me

A college roommate and close friend once described me as a decent likeness to the Buddha. I think what he meant was that I had a calm, peaceful demeanor (most of the time) and an air of compassion. Or maybe he was insinuating that I had a pot belly, was prone to laughter, and often found inside Chinese restaurants. I don't have a pot belly but I can't deny the other two. Whatever he meant, I'd never claim it of myself. As Lin Chi says, "If you meet the Buddha on the road, kill him."

Aside from that, I'm just your typical bike riding, beer drinking (and beer making), sushi eating, Iron Chef aspiring rocket scientist. The (not so) sordid details are spelled out at http://damien.chooah.com .
