His voice got me through some tough shit as a little kid, and he sang his heart out until the day he died... i mean he was doing shows WHILE he was sick. i give him props because he didnt die of drugs or getting shot or anything like a lot of music artists do ya know? un fortunatly the life he led was still his demise... or course, had he run into the same problem later in life, like now, he's probably be able to live a lot longer...anyways...
