STARR 47, born Robert Huggans, was raised in the Walnut Park section of Northside St. Louis. Around the age of 11 years old he decided to try his hand at becoming an artist rather than just being the common listener, after a childhood freind of his began writing rhymes. As time went on the passion to perfect the craft grew as much as the love for the music. At the age of 17, STARR decided to gain exposure by releasing a local mixtape titled "The Ring Volume One: Reasoable Doubt" which caught the attention of the Trak Starz (Chingy's Production Team) and Bob "Big Bob" Lowery (then J-Kwon's manager and currently Ebony Eyes manager). So at the age of 18, he was signed to Trak Starz Productions and was in talks with Bob about management but due to conflicting schedules that situation didn't go through although they always stayed in contact. After about a year and half of running with the Trak Starz with many promises and no progress being made, the young emcee decided to use the same method that caught their attention in the first place and hopped back into the driver seat of this own career and grind heavily in the streets. While recording for the Trak Starz debut LP on Blackground/Universal Records, 47 found out that he would soon have a baby girl enter the world and due to an already outrageous lack of communication decided to cut ties with the production duo altogether. Now at the age of 20, the rapper self proclaimed as "Louis King tha Saint" has moved on with own record company, Serious Business, and is currently promoting a mixtape by the same in St. Louis, Atlanta, and Chicago.
