Although I was born in the ABBA-decade (I still LOVE ABBA & Disco!), my passion for music really started in the early 80s when Electronic Music became HOTT. I loved to jam om my mums organ at a very young age -aka todler- and on her synthesizer as a teenager (sorry mum!!!)
After playing the recorder for 2 years and the German flute for 4 years, I decided to do something else with music and started to experiment by recording my own "mixes" using 3 casette recorders. Of course, this experiment ended quite shortly after I'd started it,hahahaha.
1990, Eindhoven: The first "houseparties" I visited: in the Effenaar and the ones held in the "Beursgebouw". Robin Alberts (Jaydee) -my favo jock of a weekly show named "For those who like to groove"- was one of the main acts, as for Fierce Ruling Diva (Rubb it in!!). SIMPLY LEGENDARY!!!
Lost a bit touch of the scene from 1995 till 1999 due to study and work. Regained interest in the summer of 1999 (Kriti Vibes)
Until recently I enjoyed music just by listening to and dancing on it...until I decided I wanted to hear only my favorite choons in a row instead of listening to someone else's mix. I started to mix with software on my laptop for recreational purposes and apparently some folks loved to listen to those mixes, whahahhaa. As Chris agreed it would be fun to have a radioshow on ETN3 hosted by women only, I decided to convince my substitute sister, Lieselot to join me on this adventure which resulted in FEMALE RECREATION.
The show was launched in March 2006 as a weekly show but soon it seemed we needed a longer timeslot, so it came we combined the Tuesdays with Freezels show (bi-monthly 2hs). At the end of 2006 the ETN staff announced the end of ETN3 BUT they've offered us to continue our show on ETN 1 (Trance Channel) which will be broadcasted every 4th Wednesday of the month.
