Rich aka Val-U raised on the Southside of Chicago was known to make success, through the hardships and downfalls he reached, it never kept him from staying on the grind. Val-U started his first music encounter in 1994 when a friend of the family was a rep from Jive Recordshe wanted to sign Rich Kidd right there on the spot..Ms. Holman at the time wasn't ready for her son to leave home at an early age. He continue on devolping his style with his group Tha ChiWinnz..In 1998 he latter on found his self @ Right On Time Mindz Production INC.Located on the Westside of Chicago..Things happend really quick and fast for him latter that year Rich Kidd and his best friend was in a car accident that claimed the life of Quincey Browder and came close to claiming his. ..At that point he changed his name to Val-U and the CEO of Right On Time didn't want Val-U around anymore so he left...He found his self working for WGCI under Al Greer.Doing promotions for clubs networking into meeting the people that would bring him upon success. He is currently working on His First Solo Release Welcome to Val-U City. He has opened up for artists such as Nelly and the St. Lunatics, Twista, , Bone Thugs -n- Harmony Lupe & Ghost Face Killa...Val-U and tha ChiWinnz is currenty promoting Welcome To Val-U City.
