I adore going to the opera and love those little educational classes before the show. I have sung opera for over fourteen years. I've been Chinese brush painting lately and love to cook- especially big Southern breakfasts. My two little girls and I love to "Night time window shop", which is something we made up in New York City. We would pack a lunch and go out at night and look in all the store fronts all lit up and beautiful. Of coarse, night time is the only time you could stand and stare and not get plowed over by people downtown. The best thing is that it's free and fun.
Always loving to spend time with genuine artist friends, spiritually minded individuals and creative souls.
All of the great stuff. Mahalia Jackson, Nina Simone, Caballe, Tebaldi, Gigli, Corelli, and I love to listen to Willie Nelson
Harold and Maude, Breakfast at Tiffany's,How to Marry a Millionaire, A Walk In The Clouds, The Seven Year Itch, (mainly the part where Marilyn is telling about getting her big toe stuck in the bathtub faucet), It's a Wonderful Life, The Quiet Man, Angel and The Bad Man,and You Can't Take It With You.
Never had it growing up and still don't. I hear it's pretty good, though.
ILike to be told stories most of all. From people who can spin a big tale. The Bible has got to be at the top of my book list. That's what I need the most, anyway. I love all Hemingway, The Good Earth, and I love to read opera librettos and various translations thereof. Since I was a child, non-fiction has interested me most.
Mother Theresa would top my list, I think. Then John Wayne.
