I tend to like many different kinds of music. The one constant however is that the band is talented. Much of the music I listen to everyday is a little more on the obscure side of rock. Canadian bands and bands no one has seemed to have heard of. I also enjoy alternative country, punk, swing, oldies (Gotta love Elvis and the Beatles), and classic rock.
Love going to the theater for the good ones. Others, I will wait to see at home. Recently been enjoying movies with subtitles. The Lives of Others and Pan's Labrynth are some good examples. Highly recommend! My favorites are hard to list, but to give a brief list of examples...LOTR, Spaceballs, Princess Bride, Monty Python, Fight Club...Ahhhhh, classics...
I don't really watch much TV. If I am eating dinner or in for the night, I sometimes turn it on and see if the Simpsons is on or Law and Order. Otherwise, my TV is pretty much used solely for movies. I didn't even bother to hook the surround sound up to the TV, just the DVD player.
Unfortunately, I don't seem to read a lot of books. I have recently finished Lullaby, by Chuck P (I can't pronounce his name much less spell it). Also enjoyed Tolkien and some Steven King. I think what I really need is someone to introduce me to some good authors and see where that goes.
I guess this would have to be my cat, Sebastian. He is such a little scrapper and always seems to go back for more. Fox, raccoon, skunk (twice, ugh), and other cats are all fair game to him. He is always up for a challenge and never backs down. I don't always like the final outcomes of his overnight bouts, but he is living his life on his own terms, and all he needs is a bowl of water and a dish of food to do it.
