G.O.O.N. Squad PRESENTS
T-Man Da Renegade
RENEGADE, born Tamario Bohannon has always shown an interest in the music industry, especially the rap industry. He was born in the notorious Flint, Michigan and raised on the East side of Atlanta, Georgia. At age 7, Renegade began to show how talented he was as he began to rap. Soon after, at age 12, he performed for the first time at Club Flavas in Atlanta, Georgia. He immediately knew that Rapping is something he wanted to pursue.
Being influenced by such heavy hitters as Dr Dre, Tupac, Outkast, and U.G.K., at 17, Tamario formed a group known as Heavyweights with friends K-REEZE and fellow Slummed Out Entertainment Artist, Playa G. He also put out 2 Independent Solo Albums, while still in high school. For RENEGADE, being talented doesn't only mean being a good rapper, he also produces his own tracks.
Tamario, a.k.a. RENEGADE, didnt come from a broken home, however, he found himself running the streets of Metro-Atlanta just the same. Running the streets, all day, everyday, had RENEGADE headed in the wrong direction. He states "Music saved me." His goal is to bring the south back to the days of Outkast, U.G.K, and Geto Boys, saying "I feel like every album a person does, should be personal. Otherwise, the people who buy the music cant get to know who you truly are." Therefore, he sticks to the southern gangsta rap, the south is known for.
In his senior year of high school he began pursuing having his own record label and started Slummed Out Entertainment with K-Reeze in 2002. With members of the label coming and going, Tamario began to look elsewhere for a business partner. In 2001, he had met Andre "Dre" Harris through fellow artist Randy Rifle while Dre was with another record label. In 2003, the two men decided to join forces. RENEGADE has performed at such events as the 2005 Atlanta Bike Fest, Royal Peacock BEST OF THE BEST SHOW, as well as on the Underground Talent Mart TV show broadcasted on Comcast Cable.
He states, "Slummed out is a lifestyle. I came from the gutta and now its time for the world to hear my story." Therefore RENEGADES Mix Tape H.N.I.C will be available soon. He will also be the first artist to release a debut album on Slummed Out Entertainment this fall.
