ADMIRATION
The Kids in the Hall-Dave Foley, Kevin McDonald, Bruce McCulloch, Mark McKinney and Scott Thompson. I love and admire these guys so much! Their endless creations of highbrow creativy never ceases to amaze me. They are ultimately the greatest actors/comedians there ever were.
Erk Aicrag & Racso Agroyam-"Hocico". Mexican pioneers that inspired, and created a whole new scene in a traditional, religious country where "Industrial music" was not commonly accepted.They started a revolution, and they have since inspired many like-bands today. Both have side solo projects as well(Erk=Rabia Sorda, Racso=Dulce Liquido), and each somewhat portray their separate contributions to Hocico. But they are both very talented, and I admire them for it.
Shigeru Miyamoto-"Mr.Nintendo" The Genius who created Mario brothers, Zelda, Donkey Kong etc. When you really think about it, the game concepts are really bizarre! 2 italian plumbers who transport through pipes, where mushrooms make you "Big" and your enemy is a spiky turtle?? How'd he come up with this stuff!? Nintendo was a big part of my childhood, and I still enjoy playing my super nintendo :)
Akira Yamaoka-A very talented musician. His style is truly unique, and he is well know for his composition work on the soundtracks for the Silent Hill Games.The music Makes the game, and the games hold a special place in my heart. There are no other games like Silent Hill.
Brian Erickson-A musical genius. Although personally I don't care for him too much, I still respect him greatly for what he has created (Mostly the older stuff). With a totally unique sound and style,no other band/project compares to Velvet Acid Christ.
Tuomas Holopainen-Keyboardist/Songwriter.He wrote all the music for the band Nightwish, which I think is amazing for one person to have such depth and creativity to single handedly create a totally genuine sound.
