I'd like to meet people who have room for me in their lives. I'm not interested in being a convenience.
I've always wanted to say that I've met everyone I need in my life, but as I meet more and more people, some of them become permanent and necessary within my life. To be one of these people, you have to be genuine, honest, and open. Sometimes these people show up without notice, and other times it takes a while for the space to fill up. To say the least, I've learned that life is never too full of people to share it with - its the selection of those people along the way and the enjoyment we gain from their interactions that makes life worth living. Come join me for my journey if you think you have what it takes.
People with a desire to be independent and free from the chains of societal pressures to conform; difference is unique, diversified, and opposite to uniformity and better than ordinary. Life is meant to be spontaneous and fulfilling – I’d like to meet people who are different, who I can learn from, and who believe simply because they do, without a need for vindication.
I’d like to re-meet many people from my past – I want to know what you’re like today, now that you’ve had a chance to grow out of fads and fashion trends and into an individual. I might even like you (this is rare).
I’d like to meet the founders of the world’s religions, all in the same room at once, just to see what happened. Perhaps they’d all be friends… something the world should look at attempting; lest we all disappear sooner than later.
I’d like to meet people who are certain of their perspectives, standpoints, beliefs, and goals. And then I’d like to emulate some of those characteristics within my own life. Maybe you could teach me optimism because I can’t seem to wrap my hands around it.
I always welcome the chance to connect with other musicians with a desire to expand their minds to encompass a dual creative perspective.
