National Geographic because it's where you go to learn about your own world. History channel because it teaches you what you need to know about the past. Discovery Channel because it reveals the truth about how everyday things are made, and how everyday life is kept running smoothly through really dirty jobs. The Food Network because one needs to know how to cook or what to eat if one wants to really be happy. MTV because you need that point of reference to reassure yourself that the mess you are watching isn't you, and you are in a good place. SportsNY because it's where you can watch the best baseball team ever put together: the New York Mets. Spike TV because watching asians go through torturous mazes and obstacles is hilarious on so many levels.
