the longer i live the more i realize the impact of attitude on life. attitude, to me, is more important than facts. it is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people say or think or do. it is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. it will make or break a company...a church...a home. the remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. we cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. we cannot change the inevitable. the only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. i am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how i react to it. and so it is with you...we are in charge of our attitudes. - unknown author
you're part of my soul
you're all that i know
i can't let you go
Judy Garland, one of the first people I truly remember idolizing. She was a woman of great talent and I still have all the words memorized from The Wizard of Oz.
days come and go but my feelings for you are forever

maybe i'm right
maybe i'm wrong
maybe i'm weak
maybe i'm strong
but nevertheless i'm in love with you.
maybe i'll win
and maybe i'll lose
maybe i'm in for crying the blues
but nevertheless i'm in love with you.
somehow i know at a glance
the terrible chances i'm taking
fine at the start
then left with a heart that is breaking.
maybe i'll live a life of regret
maybe i'll give much more than i'll get
but nevertheless i'm in love with you.
- Frank Sinatra
I have hurt someone.
I have broken their heart.
I will never be the same.
