Celebrating fifteen years in music, this Appalachian Kentucky native announces his third studio album release which will also mark his first all original international debuts. With fans in seven countries and all fifty states, Izzy Weaver sure makes his small hometown of Campton proud! Now residing in Nashville, Izzy keeps a busy schedule not only with recording and performing music but producing and managing the business as well!
In 1994, Izzy began his journey with the family singing ministry, "The Weavers." Quickly advancing into diverse genre, Izzy collaborated with the popular "Richard Jett Singers" in 1998 known for their many visits to the Grand Ole Opry and great Appalachian tours!
Open to broadening his horizons, Izzy brought his music to television in 1999 with special appearances on "The Harvest Hour" broadcast through the Trinity Broadcasting Network affiliates of Kentucky. Additionally, in 2001 Izzy auditioned for America's 1 reality show "American Idol (Season 2) progressing to one of Nashville’s top finalists. Throughout the following years, Izzy engaged in many on screen-avenues and released his solo debut album, "Amazing," in 2004!
Since then, Izzy released a covers album of 20 Billboard Hit ballads of the 1980's in 2007. This album along with a much appropriate tour made Izzy one of Nashville's most popular karaoke stars (Nashville Celebrity Edition) and much respected independent producers.
Weaver has gained international success and popularity over the last few years with his down-to-Earth character and emotional tunes! Holding strong to his hometown roots and Southern hospitality, Izzy is sure to meet the elements of a successful debut with his first single scheduled for release in October 2009.
In addition to great music, Izzy has also found a place in modeling for top endorsers like Abercrombie & Fitch, and Arbonne International. Furthermore, Izzy has become an actor in many Indy films, even ranking up some choreographer's credits and awards! All avenues and the fifteen years are key to shape the success of a talented entertainer and producer!
