I love music and anything that has to do with arts, unless it's done badly. I like outdoor activities such as swimming, hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing. I enjoy kicking everyone's asses at ping-pong. And I used to play softball, but that's kind of worn on me. I love going to the movies and ethnic restaurants such as Italian, Mexican or Japanese. I like to bash George W. Bush for being such an idiot. My main instrument is the French horn, but I can play all brass instruments. I also really love to sing and win karaoke contests!OH YeAH, And The office...best show ever!!!!
Friends that share similiar interests. And this parrot...And the entire cast of US's version of The Office:..
Pretty much anything that is on the radio today and has come out since 2002 sucks. I like older rock, jazz, and classical. I am also a big movie buff, so film scores are my absolute favorite. John Williams has always been my favorite composer in that genre, but I have also enjoyed scores by Bernard Hermann. (Alfred Hitchcock films mostly, he was way ahead of his time). I love Vivaldi, Beethoven (the greatest ever!), Brahms, Strauss, Stravinsky, Copland, and Bernstein the most. But lately I've been on a Wagner kick, and am reading "The Tristan Chord".
Take the Dead German Composer Test!
If I were a Dead Russian Composer, I would be Dmitri Shostakovich!
I am a shy, nervous, unassuming, fidgety, and stuttery little person who began composing the same year I started music lessons of any sort. I wrote the first of my fifteen symphonies at age 18, and my second opera, "Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District," when I was only 26. Unfortunately, Stalin hated the opera, and put me on the Enemy Of The People List for life. I nevertheless kept composing the works I wanted to write in private; some of my vocal cycles and 15 string quartets mock the Soviet System in notes. And I somehow was NOT killed in the process! And Harry Potter(c) stole my glasses and broke them!
Who would you be? Dead Russian Composer Personality Test
The genre I like the most is Romantic Comedy (typical female genre). But I like psychological thrillers, epic films, and Shakespeare made into film. My favorite movie is "Dead Again" with Emma Thompson and Kenneth Brannaugh. If you never have seen it, watch it. It's cool. I also like movies that really keep you guessing. Recently, I saw "Walk the Line". I recommend it to anyone that either likes Johnny Cash or American music from the 1960's. Warning, it really is a love story between John and June Carter. I'm glad I went to see it instead of listening to stupid dumb idiots that get to hear themselves on the radio everyday!Take the quiz:

Your just an average everyday person. Nothing to special here. You have a good head on your shoulders though and sometimes find yourself solving others problems.

The Da Vinci Code (only because it's a great piece of fiction, I'm not saying I agree with all of it).The Tristan Chord, in which I am trying to get through right now.
I am not sure. Every time I choose someone famous as a hero, I find out something bad about them that I didn't agree with. I guess you could say that my true hero is my professor from college, Dr. Martin. She was my music history professor. She made me love music history and she faced a battle with breast cancer and overcame the disease. I love her so much. She is the greatest woman I personally know.
