About Me

glitter-graphics.com

I am aptly called the "Clusterfuck Fairy" by my adoring husband, Matthew. I sprinkle little bits of amusement, joy, randomness, and intrigue wherever I go. I also leave unfinished drinks...unless they are alcoholic in nature.

On a more serious note, I am an Aquarius-Pisces hybrid, depending on which astrological calendar you consult. I am a Democrat with a couple of republican viewpoints and a Republican husband. I am agnostic with atheist and pagan tendencies. I support our troops and vets, animal rights, stem cell research, abortion and gay marriage.

My Interests

MyHotComments

Spending time with my husband, first and foremost. Also, shopping, reading quality Literature, writing fiction and non-fiction, having drinks with friends, enjoying a meal (preferrably Italian food) with good company, tasting wines to find ones I like, sampling new skincare and cosmetics, and listening to a familiar song...just for some examples.

I'd like to meet:

I don't accept many friend requests from strangers, and I accept none from bands or musicians. Everyone else is welcome to apply.

Music:

Bon Jovi, Journey, Shakira, the Drifters, Avril Lavigne, Evanescence, Nickelback, Flogging Molly, Rammstein, Mariah Carey (pre-turboslut), Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Depeche Mode, the Doors, Hinder, Aerosmith, Pink, Live, Terri Clark, Lonestar, Vertical Horizon, Sister Hazel, Bryan White, Jo Dee Messina, LeAnn Rimes, Shania Twain, Bryan Adams, and Clay Walker are the favorites that come to mind. My iPod gives me all of them on demand--gotta love that!

Movies:

Casablanca, Key Largo, The Maltese Falcon, The Caine Mutiny, Sabrina (the original), Schindler's List, The Princess Bride, Chicago, Moulin Rouge, Dark Passage, To Have or Have Not, Clue, Pirates of the Caribbean (and the sequel), Treasure of the Sierra Madre, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Bourne Identity (and its sequels), The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Indiscreet, etc.
Basically anything featuring: Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, Ingrid Bergman, Audrey Hepburn, Johnny Depp, Matt Damon or Matthew McConaughey is worth watching, no matter what.

Television:

What Not to Wear and the Mythbusters are my current faves.

Books:

A Tale of Two Cities, Anna Karenina, Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, Things Fall Apart, The House on Mango Street, The Great Gatsby, The Beautiful and Damned, Medea, Antigone, Ordinary People, A Separate Peace, The Princess Bride, The Joy Luck Club and In Love and War are some of my favorites. Recently I have read Great Expectations, War and Peace, and One Hundred Years of Solitude.

Heroes:

My husband Matthew for being the man he is and inspiring me to be who I am. He amazes me continually with the strength of his devotion to me.
