Pasha Tseitlin was born on January 08, 1986 in San Diego, California. He is currently a junior in his bachelor studies and is studying with Professor Alice Schoenfeld at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
Pasha started studying violin at the age of four with his parents, Michael and Irina, at the California Institute of Music. He made his orchestral debut at the age of 9 performing Vivaldi's Seasons and at 14 performed Sibelius' Violin Concerto at the California Center for the Arts. Pasha has toured in Germany, Austria, Italy, Belgium, Brazil, Portugal, and Russia. He recorded two CDs with CAMUS and was a featured soloist with the Viana do Castelo Festival Orchestra performing Waxman's "Carmen Fantasy" and Botessini's "Grand Duo Concertante" with Artem Chirkov, princal bassist of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic.
In January 2005 Pasha performed Glazunov Violin Concerto with the Ryazan Philharmonic Orchestra in Russia. In the summer of 2005, Pasha went on tour through Belgium with renowned Belgian pianist Patrick Dheur and in December of that same year, performed Mozart Concerto No. 5 with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra. The performance was recorded live by the recording label "Melodia".
In 2006 Pasha on tour with the "IMF Goes Jazz" group throughout Portugal as part of the International Music Festival of Viana Do Castelo, Portugal. Later in September, he performed Szymanowski's Concerto No. 1 with the USC Symphony under the direction of guest conductor Leslie Dunner of the Joffrey Ballet. He also just recently played a duet on the song "A House Is Not A Home" with Monica Mancini for a tribute to Burt Bacharach.
Pasha has collaborated in chamber music ensembles with such noted musicians as Ivan Monighetti, Vladimir Viardo, David Chan, Nokuthula Ngwenyama, and Midori Goto.
