PUTING YOUR LIFE IN DANGER IS LIVING, THE REST IS TELEVISION

About Me

Born on August 8, 1982, Andy Bonura was raised in Oklahoma City. His interest in percussion began at age eleven when he watched his Uncle John jam to Metallica's "Enter Sandman". Andy drummed in several bands in Oklahoma City before becoming one of the founding members of the band Vestige. With Vestige, he moved to Los Angeles in October of 2003. Vestige performed actively throughout Hollywood for most of 2004, including landmark clubs such as The Whisky A Go-Go, Bar Sinister, and The Knitting Factory. After almost exactly a year in Hollywood and with many opportunities just beginning to blossom, Vestige disbanded. After Vestige, Andy studied percussion with Al Pahanish, formerly of Powerman 5000, and co-founded the band Anodyne. Anodyne played an abundance of shows throughout Los Angeles and San Francisco in 2006. In November of the same year, they traveled to Radiostar Studios in Weed, California and recorded their debut EP with Tooll and System of a Down producer Sylvia Massy Shivy. Anodyne later changed their name to Fragile Massy but the band ended shortly thereafter.Currently, Andy is involved in several music projects. He serves as the touring drummer for Lo Mass Republic who has recently played shows in California and Arizona as well as opened up for Live for select shows in Florida. In addition, Andy explores his other musical talents in the instrumental project called Remedy Code, and is in the midst of forming a new band with two of his ex-Fragile Massy bandmates.Andy is available for studio work and would consider touring with the right project.MY BANDS:MY GEAR:.found this plain layout at HOT FreeLayouts.com
