Hi everybody!
I’m Matteo and I’m a bass/doublebass player!
I was born in 1985, and I’m playing since 2002.
After a practice with different teachers for some years, actually I’m studying doublebass at the Conservatory “G. Frescobaldi†in Ferrara, jazz music with Ares Tavolazzi, R.Spadoni, L.Bragalini, R.Manuzzi, S.Peretto and many others.. and also classical music under the strict teaching of Claudio Campadello and Stefano Celada.
With electric bass I’m practicing since some years rock music and advanced techniques and I learn by Giorgio JT Terenziani.
Now I play with Ophiura in Ferrara and we are working at the new concept album in collaboration with Alkemist Fanatix Europe.
I even have a side project for next year with Mattia Paterna (ex Dream One, ex Nova Era), Alex Mari (Ophiura, Dark Stalkers) , Tommaso Vezzali (Ophiura) , Rubin twins (ex Black Wings) ad other musiscians.
