Born January 8th 1982, Jamaica Queens N.Y., Calvin Jackson - a.k.a. Clowd9yne - has always had a passion for music. Clowd first gave rap a shot at the age of 11, rapping off everything from Casio keyboard beats to popular instrumentals. He was a natural.His father joined the military, and the Family Left New York and having moved to such places as Texas, Hawaii, Virginia, Maryland, Atlant Ga - where he currently resides. Jumping from place to place has given Clowd a very unique flow that blends many different styles together. Regardless of what words come out of his mouth, his flow is always addicting and it is trademark - instantly recognizable.Clowd had a fear of freestyling for years. Revealing his level of skill to anyone that might criticize him was one of his greatest fears. While others would free and battle, Calvin would concoct lines in his mind and only mentally recite them. It wasn't until he passed the pubescent stage of his life that he actually began rhyming for crowds.
