Interpol, The White Stripes, happy apple, tapes 'n tapes, The Talking Heads, Bloc Party, modest mouse, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, MF Doom, Del, practically anything by Danger Mouse, The Postal Service, John Mayer Trio, The Raconteurs, miles davis, sufjan stevens, beck, busdriver, the decemberists, yoko kanno, the gorillaz, the flaming lips, underground rap -not the crap that's on the radio (except Kanye West), the hip-hop that 89.3 The Current (BEST STATION EVER) plays is where it's at, my "band"/songwriting project which has yet to have a name or a fairly permanent lineup, and a bunch of other stuff...
Movies:
Anything Monty Python is hilarious, and I love Quinten Tarentino movies, especially Pulp Fiction. I know it's cliche, but Donnie Darko as well. Borat is one of the funniest I've ever seen. I also like Anchorman, Spinal Tap, Airplane, Blazing Saddles, and more, but i don't have the will to list them all.
Television:
Adult Swim-not the anime part, but the Metalocalypse, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, the Boondocks, Harvey Birdman, Robot Chicken, Family Guy, etc. part, South Park, the Daily Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, the Office, and Sturday Night Live, and more that I don't feel like listing.
Books:
Ishmael - go read it now. Other than that, I don't read a whole lot, but I must admit I do like the Harry Potter books. I also like comedies, but good ones are hard to find in the form of books. I read a book that I believe is called Monkey, but regardless of the name, it was still good. Well, I should be reading more than I do, but I'm not, so...that's about it, unless bathroom graffiti counts...
