I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm pretty much late for everything. I sleep in whenever I get a chance.
I love to hang out with my friends. And now that they are all having babies, to play with their children. They are all so freakin' cute!
I read a lot. I love sci-fi/fantasy books. Most of the books that I read are part of series or triologies.
I'm a really picky eater... no seafood, mushrooms, or spicy food. I'm not a big fan of Thai or Indian, but I love Greek food. I'm definitely a meat and potatoes kind of person.
I love to travel. I used to go to Mexico for work all the time, but I've been to France, Ireland, and Greece for fun. I was able to go Germany for work in a few times last year. The best part was taking the corporate jet... now that's the way to travel! Now that I am in my new job at Chrysler, I'll be traveling to Korea and China. That should be interesting. My Interests

Hockey!!! Even though the Wings didn't make it to the Finals this year, at least they got to the Western Conference Finals. Tigers! Finally, after 19 years, our boys made it to the post season last year. It was so much fun. I actually got to go to one of the World Series games, the only one that they won. And even though they didn't make it to October this year, at least we still got to watch meaningful games in September. Already, I can't wait for Spring Training!... Football... Unfortunately, I'm a Lions Fan. Enough said.

I love to read, mostly sci-fi/fantasy books, but some romance novels every once and a while. I also like to watch TV and movies. Now that I got my TiVo, I watch way too much TV.

I love music.. I'm a huge Matchbox Twenty fan. I've seen them 23 times (including 9 Rob Thomas, plus one New Left) in concert all over the country. I managed to get to 3 shows on the "Exile in America" winter tour, and I went to a meet & greet and dress rehearsal/sound check in Hollywood, FL, which was of course, awesome. But now, I really hope that there is a summer tour.

I'd like to meet:

My Grandma Crowley, Steve Yzerman, Jim Leyland, Brad Pitt, Matchbox Twenty (again). Got to meet mb20 in Hollywood, FL last week and it was awesome. I was much more functional this time, I hope!
