feel yourself being quietly drawn by the deeper pull of what you truly love. -Rumi

About Me

“I wanted movement and not a calm course of existence. I wanted excitement and danger and a chance to sacrifice myself for love, I felt in myself a superabundance of energy which found no outlet in my quiet life.” -Tolstoy ~ I am very much a loner and true Cancer in the sense that I build walls around myself in order to re-energize. I am learning how to be more open to others energy and not just rely on myself and music to keep me flowing. I am a Montessorian, and true follower of her unbelievable understanding of the power of our children. I dedicate everyday of my life (except for Friday and Saturday when I am dance, dance, dancing!) to this belief. I am in constant wonder and amazment by the abilities and pure beauty of young children and know in my heart that what I am doing is truly making an impact on this confusing, very chaotic but beautiful world we are exsisting in. To me, being a Montessorian isn't a job, it's a choice, and for that I feel blessed.I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)

Maria Montessori, Joni Mitchell, Rumi, Mary Magdalene"I share the belief of many of my contemporaries that the spiritual crisis pervading all spheres of Western industrial society can be remedied only by a change in our world view. We shall have to shift from the materialistic, dualistic belief that people and their environment are separate, toward a new consciousness of an all-encompassing reality, which embraces the experiencing ego, a reality in which people feel their oneness with animate nature and all of creation." -Albert Hoffman

Music:

"When words leave off, music begins." -Heinrich Hei --- I will travel the world to see Sound Tribe Sector 9. They play with such purpose, that in turn I find every movement I make, every step of my dance is filled with that same kind of positive purpose. I've also recently renewed my love and respect for the DJ and am diggin' all the thunderous sounds and funky beats that make me groove.Otherwise, to a list that is constantly growing and slightly random, here are a few listed from my iPod: Ani Difranco, Anoushka Shankar, An-ten-nae, Arrested Development, Augustus Pablo, The Band, Bassnectar, The Bays, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Biodiesel, Blind Melon, Bonnie Raitt, Boombox, Boreta, Curtis Mayfield, Dao, David Grisman, David Starfire, Digable Planets, Dr. Didg, EdIT, Edith Piaf, Emmylou Harris, Eliot Lipp, EOTO, Erykah Badu, Frou Frou, Gillian Welch, The Gladiators, The Glitch Mob, The Greyboy Allstars, Hamsa Lila, Herbie Hancock, Herbie Mann, Inka Wayra, Israel Vibration, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, Jamie Janover, Jamiroquai, Jerry Garcia, John Denver, John Hartford, Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, Jurassic 5, Kraddy, Lauryn Hill, Leftover Salmon, Mark Farina, MMW, M.I.A., Midival Punditz, Miles Davis, Morcheeba, The Mutaytor, Ooah, Paul Simon, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, The Pnuma Trio, Prefuse 73, Rahzel, Ray LaMontagne, Regina Spektor, The Seedling Escape, Shakti, The Slip, St. Germain, Steel Pulse, SCI, Sub-id, Sub Swara, Susan Tedeschi, Talking Heads, Telefon Tel Aviv, Tori Amos, Traffic, Urubamba, US3, Van Morrison, Vibesquad, Victor Wooten, Zilla...
