About Me

I'm also known as Sarah. I come from Cornwall in England and haven't yet found another place I could truly call home. I currently spend most of my waking hours attempting to pay off (poorly) a (not so) recent three month trip to the U.S. and Canada followed by a short time in India, which I intend to return to as soon as Bank Balance allows. I consider myself to be a laid back person who enjoys the finer tings in life, such as; drinking with my mates, theatre, art, and loud, live music

My Interests

I likes the following good things:Music, Travel, Festivals and gigs, Film, Reading and spend most free days at the beach, Cornish weather permitting, although I'm a lazy biiatch at the mo and evenings goin to the pub until I fall down!!..the usual really.

I'd like to meet:

Awesome-o-saurus

Music:

I don't even know where to begin with moosick... I just can't get enough of new stuff, so anyone who can lend me cds is always welcome....I am way too poor to fuel even a fraction of my habit. I'll do a list so you get the gist, (unintentional rhyming I promise.) Er in no order but that of my tired mind:Radiohead,Thom Yorke's solo album is amazing, QOTSA, Kyuss, EODM, System of a Down, The Pixies, Tool, Beck, At The Drive In, Pantera, Audioslave, Down, Henry (Hendrix), Cypress Hill, Zutons, The Strokes, Gorillaz, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, White Stripes, and Westlife.

Movies:

Films I could watch any day of the week are: Fight Club, Shaun of the Dead, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Donnie Darko, Pulp Fiction, Withnail & I, Kill Bills, Moulin Rouge, Taxi Driver, Bowling for Columbine & Dude I Just Barfed Up Your Ass

Television:

I don't get to watch much telly as I'm working so much at the mo... but when I gets the chance I tune into:The Mighty Boosh, The Sopranos, The League of Gentlemen, Father Ted, Spaced, Family Guy, Planet Earth (any BBC/David Attenborough collaboration) Loved The Blue Planet too...Just getting started on Lost...

Books:

I'm a bit of a bookworm and although I try to read intellectually, I mostly get stuck into fantasy and horror novels...the literary equivallent of action films I s'pose. Honest I'm no thick! I spend far too much time reading when I should be frolicking the sunshine.... Some of the people to whom I owe my pale complexion are:Neil Gaiman who can frighten, astound and surprise me no matter what mood I'm in, Clive Barker, who has The. Most. Amazing imagination, Hunter S. Thompson, Whose views aren't always entirely in agreement with my own, but makes me laugh my ass off, Phillip Pullman, His Dark Matereals was brilliant... and I confess that I read far too many graphic novels to get away without being a nerd! My faves are Preacher and Lucifer.

Heroes:

Me Ma *yep getcha buckets out* And that guy who can balance a mini on his head.
