I am a Musician/Tone Poet who lives to write, perform and listen to music.
I perform regularly in the Capital District of NY (Albany/Schenectady/Troy)with Erin Harkes and the Rebound (www.erinharkes.com for schedule info and to purchase CD's and merch).and also as one half of the erin harkes duo - erin and I play the greatest cheeziest covers you ever heard, as well as great EH originals - it's not just nice quiet acoustic guitar only gig either, I usually play loud crunchy electric guitar with full blown solo's, effect, etc. - too much fun!.
I also have an original band Vibewranglers with a cd Popgun available at amazon.com.....I am always up for a jam.....I play guitar and keyboards and I love to loop and I am an effects freak!(I have a pedal board for my band gigs and a second for my duo/acoustic gigs) I look at effects like an artist might - some artists can do incredible work with just charcoal or a few colors - I choose to "paint" with a full color pallete.... I have 2 strats, a tele, prs custom 22 ten top, les paul, 335, variax 500, dano electric 12 string, taylor 410ce, lap steel, mandolin, and a few other acoustics in various open tunings.....I pride myself on my Tone and have always dug guitarists with great tone (guitarists with great tone always seem to be extremely melodic as well)...
