Skanktuary

Bio: Skanktuary is an epic ska band from Encinitas, California. They have been playing professionally through out San Diego County since February 2004. With a crisp drumline, wailing tenor saxophone, a swinging trombone, skankin' guitar chords and a booming bass, Skanktuary produces an outrageously blissful ska experience sure to make you skank the night away. Skanktuary doesn't need a 13 member ska orchestra to rock. They are a small ensemble with a huge sound, not huge in volume necessarily, but huge in spirit. With such a zeal for ska music and an unfathomably large amount of talent, it is hard to believe that the four surfers aren't yet 21. Despite their age or lack thereof, they have been featured on San Diego radio, played parties, bars, schools and social gatherings and will soon unleash a full length, self titled original album. They are building a loyal following in San Diego and all points beyond. Their album is now in production at the internationally acclaimed Elector Studios. It features a greasy selection of the most popular original Skanktuary songs.
