"City of Stars".......It's a New Movement!!

About Me

HIPNOTIKWell, it’s been a long time coming for both this vibrant young artist and definitely for his hometown of Pittsburgh. His perseverance and talent are carving a niche for him and for his city – landing them both squarely on that widely sought-after spot on the hip hop map.The hot new addition that’s making it all happen in the game called rap … yep, it’s Hipnotik. Simply put, this kid’s doing his thing and he’s following in the footsteps of some of his most admired MCs, like Kanye West, Jay-Z, Fabolous, and Rick Ross. He’s not afraid to bring forth a whole new experience to this rap game and test the limits of hip-hop music today. He earns respect not by just battling MCs on tracks, Hipnotik has received regional attention because of his effortless flow, masterful songwriting and his electrifying live performances. In fact, thousands witnessed Hipnotik bless the stage when he was awarded the opportunity to open up for Def Jam Recording Artists’ Ja Rule and Ashanti. “It was at the beginning of my career. I remember signing autographs and the fans were asking if I was signed to Murder Inc." Hipnotik recalls. "I said no with a smile … and kept signing my name and taking pictures. You know, living it up." With that milestone achievement under his belt, he quickly launched his dream into high gear. That gig lead to many more performances. Hipnotik has also opened for Ghostface Killah and Bone Thugs & Harmony. But, that wasn’t the first time Hipnotik has amazed crowds seeing he has been rapping and involved in music all his life. Twenty-six years later, his experience has finally paid off. His music is versatile, has substance and captures life’s ups and downs. His music appeals to all ages, cultures and lifestyles. There is no divisional label to describe his sound. He’s made his mark and has positioned himself where no one can touch him. His songs convey that. He mixes creativity along with a feel-good vibe on the club bangers "Move It For Me Mami" and "What The Hell Are You Waitin’ For?" His track "Turn It Up" conveys his live energy -- right to your ears. His other club song "Tonight Da Night," boasts his lyrical creativity. And his lyrics will hit you right between the eyes on more street-hop joints like "About Me" and "A Million More." But it doesn’t stop there.....what’s a well-rounded MC got if he can’t win a crowd in more than one way? Hipnotik has branded his sound and appeared on many radio commercials. He was also asked to cut the intro song for the “Hit Squad” on WAMO 106.7 FM -- Pittsburgh’s home for hip hop and R&B. His lil ditty was used for months as the lead in for one of the city’s hottest radio shows. And he won’t stop there… this newcomer is also known for hosting various club nights in the ‘Burgh’s ever-so-popular nightclub area called “The Strip District.” This is the new sound of hip-hop – taken to the next level. Woven with influence from past, present and future icons. It’s not underground, mainstream or commercial. It’s Hipnotik. So put your stunna shades on, because THIS boy shines bright with the pride, confidence and swagger that it takes to thrive in this industry. Your boy Hipnotik is nagivatin’ the movement. He’s takin’ over. Today … Pittsburgh. Tomorrow ... The World. Stay Tuned...
