About Me

I'm a combination of many things. I follow a pagan path, been vegetarian for about 15 years; that is until I had a brief encounter with a turkey burger. ;o)I have 2 spoiled cats. I've been to Mexico, Canada and all over the US. I've lived on the east coast, near the gulf coast, in the Las Vegas desert and most recently, the pacific northwest. I have friends in many places all over the country & world. I'm a massage therapist by trade. I'm also a photographer, poet, dancer, drummer, piano player, natural healing enthusiast, and lots more. I live for moments of creativity. I love peanut butter, sunny mornings, full moon nights, quite moments among moss covered trees. Since I've been on myspace, I've run into old friends, and found new ones. How cool is that?

"When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."
~ Dr. Wayne Dyer

My Interests

performing and visual arts, creative writing, learning about different massage techniques & the healing arts, sustainable living & ecology, mythologies - especially celtic, egyptian & hindu, auyrvedic medicine, vegetarian cooking, tarot & other divination methods, herbalism & aromatherapy, and meeting like minded folks!

Emily's Black Kitty Hoody, Free Cat Chat, T-Shirts & More @ EmilyStrange.com

I'd like to meet:

Crafty chicks, other pagans/wiccans, healers/massage therapists, and those folks who like to have real conversations about subjects that matter, and actually have the guts to do something about it.And since everyone else on myspace seems to put down famous folks in this section, I want to meet some dead famous folks - Einstein, Martin Luther King, Jr., Helen Keller, and my early Italian relatives.

Music:

I like just about everything. Although, I'm not too fond of rap, christian music, death metal, or other such noise. Lately I've been listening to a lot of classical music. But I love world music, singer/ songwriters get a big fat A in my book, and singers who's lyrics have meaning.

Movies:

Favs. of all time: Lost Boys & the Mummy series, anything with Angelina Jolie & Drew Barrymore, girly tear jerkers, murder mysteries, foreign & independent films (especially Amelie!)

Television:

Big News!! We got cable, I am really excited. Now I can watch some TV stations again like food network, discovery, music channels and such. Bigger news, yay the writers strike is over. Death to reality TV! But as far as shows I am totally hooked into Heros, Chuck, Desperate Housewives & Brothers & Sisters. And I when I get the chance I love Bones, CSI: Las Vegas & House

Books:

Currently reading: Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley. For other stuff, I love vampire novels, murder mystery, glbt. books. For Non-fiction, I like biographies.

Heroes:

My grandparents & Mom, Rosa Parks, Maya Angelou & anyone willing to stand up for themselves in the face of adversity.
