Note: Within the last 2 years, there hasn't been a single film that I would even consider adding to this list. That's right. There's a velvet rope and a bouncer with a headset sitting in front of this list.
The Simpsons. There is nothing else worth watching if you don't have cable. And even if you do, it's not worth paying for.

My mother: Strongest, most understanding woman I know. She deserves more than she gets.
