Brian Green believes he is truly blessed.
He married the love of his life, Sunny Green, in 1997. The couple delight in the times they spend with each other and with their two wonderful children, Faith and Logan. And Brian is able to support his family doing what he loves... performing music for appreciative audiences.
Brian is the consummate entertainer. He says his performance style is based on how the song makes him feel, but adds, "Most of my style is audience-connected. I like to see people's eyes and somehow put myself in their place. I am very energetic and deliberate".
After serving a four-year term in the United States Air Force as a Spanish linguist, Brian has devoted his professional life to honing his musical craft, performing in musical revues across the Southeast. He has performed as a singer/dancer in shows for High Steppin Country in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Opryland Talent in Texas and South Carolina; The Alabama Theatre; Dollywood Productions in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; Six Flags theme parks in Georgia and Texas; and also Starlite Entertainment in Branson, Missouri.
In 2002, Brian joined the Emotions, a popular Texas dance band which plays some of the top venues in the state with a repertoire ranging from Country to Top 40. During the next year the tenor fronted the band as lead vocalist and played acoustic guitar. As lead singer, Brian followed such greats as David Kersh, who used his Emotions background as a springboard to a major recording career.
Still performing full time, Brian managed to attend The University of the Incarnate Word where he was named Most Outstanding Physical Education Student when he graduated with a bachelors degree in 2003.
Among his awards include "Best Performer" at Six Flags Fiesta Texas (1999), "Best Singer and Dancer" at The Mike Baty Expo in Dallas, Tx(1999), and "Preemanent Performer" for Calliope Talent Agency in San Antonio, Tx(1999). He was named on Incarnate Word's Dean's List 6 consecutive semesters and also selected to The National Dean's List publication 2 years in a row.
He has recently added song writing to his repertoire of musical talents, teaming up with songwriters like George Balliet, Steve Carson, and Jerome Earnest.
"Song writing to me", Brian says," is a way to put on paper and music how I may be feeling at a certain point in time whether it happened yesterday, today, or tomorrow. I like to keep it simple and to the point."
After a decade of honing his craft, Brian is now ready for the next step, to make his mark in Christian Country Music. Thankful for his blessings, he wants to share those blessings with others. ..
