Born in Brisbane Australia in the 80's Australian Greek Ian Starr started ballet and singing training at the young age of five. Already starting his career at the age of 6, Ian was the star of a series of McDonald’s commercials and various TV shows. Gaining many awards for his entertaining talents Ian was cast in various Australian stage shows and plays across Australia along side many of the industries best.At the age of 14, Ian recorded his first demo....a song that he still sings to this day!!...with the wonderful song under his belt he was then presented with a development deal at the ripe old age of 16. Alas due to a fucked up contract nothing was released with the record company and the project was shelved never to see the light of day ever again.By the age of 17 Ian created his own music management company. His first act was a all girl group FEVER, Then went on to be a dance and vocal teacher for the Australian Spice girls "The Spiced Girls" the girls were an international success and Ian soon went on to be the support act gaining exposure to the people the meant the most to his career.In the summer of 2000 Ian was approached to be a member of an Australian/New Zealand boyband DboyZ. The boys then become a hit with the New Zealand audience and follow suit with a change of line up and a brand new album. However this wasn’t enough for the band, and spit from there New Zealand management. Within a matter of weeks the newly formed boyband BOYSTAR were back together with a new name and image and three contract offers under there belt, Ian and the rest of the boys signed up to 301Records in Sydney and under the guidance of Australia’s best manager Micheal Browning (INXS AC/DC). Within a year of recording and shoots the single came out and debuted with an impressive number ..12 spot on the Aria charts, staying in the to 20 for 5 weeks.Confusion about the second single was dragging on too long and change of music direction for the new album was taking its toll on Ian, and he wasn’t impressed with the new music so in 2003 Ian terminated his contract with BOYSTAR and cut all ties with companies involved. BOYSTAR never re-formed or never brought out anymore music after that day.Now in 2007...Ian was bored of living the high life from his well earned break from the industries and decided to record new music with some of the world’s best song writers and produces.
