Danny Ashe (born Daniel Guzman Sandoval on June 23, 1974) is
a Chilean-American singer-songwriter, composer, graphic designer
and DJ. Ashe has a distinctive powerful voice, described by one
critic as sounding "like a young Ozzy Osbourneâ€. Lyrically, Ashes'
songs are known for atmospheric portrayals of death, arrogance,
hope and romanticism. With his melancholic and sometimes
crooner-like voice, his incorporation of styles such as blues, folk,
and rock, and experimental tendencies verging on dance and
industrial music, Danny Ashe has built up a distinctive musical persona.
Ashe is the lead singer for American Electro Rock band Marqui Adora .
He has also worked with Fort Lauderdale based Worldbeat Group
on numerous projects, including session guitar work for Nu-Jazz / Live
Electronics act, Amereida and lead vocalist for Broadway style
composer Bill Danzig. Ashe has also worked as a recording engineer
for Indian music artist Shakuntala, Bahamian singer-songwriter
Desiree Cox and Brazilian style percussionist-singer Rico.
Danny Ashe was also the lead singer / guitarist for American Dream Pop
band Lunabelle from 1995-2003.
Ashe has been a DJ for the
last 4 and half years. His musical knowledge and style are vast as he
has proven his diversity by spinning Electro, House, Rock, 80s,
Classic Rock, Mod, 60s Soul, Goth/Industrial, World Music, Mid Tempo
Electronica, Latin and Lounge Music. He is currently a resident DJ at
Miami Beach’s number one Sunday night party, Chocolate Sundays.
