I love the summertime and almost everything that has to do with summer. Warm weather, beaches and bikinis, watersports, golden tans, baseball. I love reading and hanging out with friends. I love the San Francisco Giants and the San Jose Stealth professional lacrosse team. I absolutely love animals of all kinds (except horses, I'm petrified of them for some reason. I'd really like to get over that fear, but I haven't been able to work up that courage just yet.)
Anyone worth spending time with.

Almost all country, some oldies, a little bit of rap and a little bit of R&B. Classic rock (a must for summertime, especially up in Clear Lake). The best groups are the ones who have been around for a while, and continue to be liked by every generation. The Eagles, Aerosmith, The Beatles, ZZ Top. The list goes on and on. I'm pretty much a fan of almost every genre of music except for heavy metal. It's just a bit too much for my ears to handle.
Wizard of OZ, The Shawshank Redemption, Super Troopers, The Fifth Element, Playing By Heart, The Three Amigos, Ice Age, The Princess Bride, anything with Paul Walker in it (he's damn sexy), the Tomb Raider movies, the Indiana Jones movies. My movie taste is all over the place. I like action movies, and movies that make me laugh.
I don't really get to watch much TV lately, but I do love Scrubs, CSI (the original Las Vegas one, not those Miami and New York knock offs) and Gilmore Girls.
I like just about anyting with a good plot and characters that you can identify with. I love reading, unfortunately I tend to get lost in really good books and when I finally resurface I find that the day has passed me by. I finished reading Wicked and Son of a Witch. I love just about anything that might have to do with the Wizard of OZ, so they were very enjoyable, although I wish there was more story to read.
The teachers and coaches, both in and outside of school, that motivated and encouraged me throughout my life and helped me to make the decision to become a teacher myself. Though they may not be aware of the impact they had on me, I am aware of it every day and I thank them so much for giving me the desire to make a difference in other childrens' lives. They were there for me, and now I can be there for others.
