I am a motion picture camera assistant living in New Orleans. I was born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1969, and have had a lifelong love of film. (When I was a kid, all I knew was I wanted to 'be Luke Skywalker'. That changed as I grew older to, "I want to make a movie that makes some OTHER kid feel like I felt in 1977 watching Star Wars for the FIRST time.")I moved from Pittsburgh to Rockport, Maine in 1997. In Maine, I attended the Maine Photographic Workshops. There I made lots of like minded friends, learned a lot, loved a lot, and moved to Florida after 2 years of chipping ice of of my friends' doors so they could get OUT of their house in the winter!.I moved to Orlando, Florida (the city beautiful) , and spent a few years there trying to get my film career up and running with my friend Bryan Hart. When I was asked by friends in the industry to, "Move to New Orleans.. we want you here.. we'll give you work"..... I packed up and made the move to NEW ORLEANS!!The Crescent City has been very good to me.. I have worked on a TON of films while here, and made some good friends! Katrina was a bitch who took half of my stuff but thankfully none of my friends. The years since Katrina have been good. I returned as soon as I could to NOLA. I have been fortunate enough to find enough employment to keep my head above the financial waters so far. I hope to work there for many years to come.
